My mission to to simplify your skin care. No judgment. Just come as you are.
Because YOU.ARE.AMAZING!

Which means I have a one simple rule: I only educate and give you guidance.

You are gorgeous as you are. Skin care is only an extension of that inner beauty. Think of it as part of your self care.

Sure, you could go online and do anyone else’s videos or tutorials, but who better to trust your skin to than someone who gets carded at 43? My approach to skin care is DO NO HARM and only buy with intention. What does that mean? Well, I’m not going to sell you something to peel off your face and cause undo trauma to your skin. There is a time and a place for those things, but I find less is more. I like to make sure you develop healthy skin habits that stick than sell you a 15 step program you will do for 1 week and then let it collect dust. No one wins in this scenario.

A little about myself.

I started Clean Slate in 2009 after I was laid off from my corporate job at a 5 star spa. If you remember, 2009 was not a good time for the economy. Some would argue 2020 isn’t much better, but I digress. Even though the timing was “off”, I decided to open my own thing after doing it for so many years for others. Clean Slate was my “fresh start.” The last 11 years has taught me so much! I went to a 75 square foot space to a 2100 square foot space and 12 staff members back down to myself to now online. It has been a journey!

I’d love for you to come along as we explore skin habits and rituals, ingredients, food and how it relates to the skin, self care as a whole and everything in between. If this is your jam, you’ve come to the right place…mmmm, jammmm!

A little more about me:

  • I started my esthetics career back in 1997 and discovered I loved it!
  • I have my own skin care line, Clean Slate Skin Care™. A portion of my proceeds go to charities in our local community or for causes bigger than us.
  • I believe in always learning new things.
  • I love to cook!
  • Born in Texas, raised in New Mexico and here in San Diego for the last 19 years.
  • I have a son named Nash and a husband named Nick. They’re the bee’s knees.
  • Speaking of my son, we play the violin. Well, we’re taking lessons…maybe one day we’ll play you a song.

Now enough about me…I’d love to meet you!
